have not yet fallen off the face of the earth...
no, i haven't fallen. and i am still around, but it has in fact been a while.
and there is a reason.
work.
i came to thailand to get away from working all the time, but the thing is, here it's easy to make money, and so i find myself wanting to do it more and more, plus, it's fun!
and so now i am working seven days a week, teaching at thewpaignarm during the week and at a language school on weekends, and sleeping and watching movies inbetween. i have been working on getting my life in order and taking care of myself, and doing things that make me happy. also, internet has been out at work, and i have no free time anywhere else to get anything done.
a short update of things:
-had my hair straightened! $25 USD, and i love it. after ten years of wearing it up all the time, i now wear it down about half the time (a big change for me.)
-bought some new glasses...
-seen more and more things in bangkok
-have the flu
-am now kindergarten director of my school
and what else...
getting suits made! hurray for cheap labour in thailand!
am coming home next year for the month of march, with or without rin.
i have found a new love for this country. this city is amazing, and i am really enjoying all aspects. rin and i have been having a fantastic time here, and really getting to know each other.
that's about it, plus i have class. but i wanted to send a short update, and now that we have internet back at school i can update more frequently!

hey, i was starting to wonder about things too, but i know as well how quickly one can get swept up in things over here...sounds like everything is coming up heather...you deserve it lady...take care and look forward to reading more
